Since 1996, Gladis has provided home visits for patients needing physical therapy. From 2005 to 2014, Gladis served as the Physical Therapy Specialist at the Fundacion Solidaria pro niñez y Juventud.

Gladis studied Physical Therapy at the University of El Salvador in 1996 to become a technologist; in addition, she graduated from the University of El Salvador in 2008 with a degree in Occupational and Physical Therapy.

In her free time, Gladis enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter.
