From 2001 to 2014, Keyla worked as a personal secretary for a legal office. Keyla’s work at the Friends From Iowa Foundation holds a special place in her heart; with her responsibility of taking care of her own disabled son, Josué, she has the desire to help other kids and see the Foundation succeed.
Josué was born with Brain Paralysis, so he is not able to walk. However, in spite of his problems, he had the desire to attend Kindergarten and play with other kids, and he is now looking forward to elementary school. The Foundation’s physical therapy sessions give Josué the opportunity to walk and be independent.
